1970s minneapolis public teachers strike

Resolution

In 1972, the strike ended. Because of that, PELRA (Public Employees Labor Relations Act) was created, a law giving teachers and other employees the right to bargain collectively. This strike helped set the standards for teachers in Minneapolis Public Schools from then on.
